BCPS Students Learn About Conserving Energy Through Theater Performance

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) students from Charles Drew Elementary School in conjunction with the elementary classes at Cross Creek School co-hosted a performance by the National Theatre for Children, the largest in-school educational touring theater company in the world. The fast-paced, educational show called “Captain Wattage” used colorful sets, engaging characters and audience participation to teach students about the importance of conserving energy and playing it safe around electricity.
