Bethune Elementary Students Perform for South Florida Symphony Orchestra Members

Wednesday, February 10, 2016

Students from Mary M. Bethune Elementary, a Turnaround Arts School selected by the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, perform for members of the South Florida Symphony Orchestra.  BCPS is one of five schools in the nation, and the only school district in Florida, that receives education training and resources as part of the Turnaround Arts Program.

The South Florida Symphony Orchestra is a partner of the program and is providing a “master teaching artist” to introduce third grade students from the three Turnaround Arts Schools (Bethune Elementary School, Lake Forest Elementary School and Walker Elementary School) to symphony music.
