Boyd H. Anderson High School Unveils Newly Renovated $2 Million Media Center
On Friday, August 25, 2017, Boyd H. Anderson High School unveiled its new media center – a $2 million media center renovation as part of the District’s SMART program improvements. The ribbon cutting ceremony celebrated the new state-of-the-art facility, which reflects the Broward County Public Schoolsl (BCPS) emphasis on increasing innovation and technology for students and staff.
Named after the school’s mascot, the new Cobra Research Center serves as a model for BCPS media centers being designed to serve as the learning hub of schools. With updated technology and learning spaces, the Cobra Research Center provides a learning environment that encourages students and staff to connect, create and collaborate.
