Culinary Arts Students Showcase Talents at Florida Panthers Guest Chef Competition

Up and coming professional chefs from culinary programs at seven high schools – Blanche Ely High School, Coral Glades High School, Coral Springs High School, Plantation High School, South Broward High School, Stranahan High School and J.P. Taravella High School – participated in the Florida Panthers Guest Chef Program culinary competition. Students put their best cooking and presentation skills to the test, to showcase their talents in the culinary competition, hosted by the Florida Panthers at the BB&T Center. Congratulations to Vincenzo Amoretti, ninth grade student from Coral Glades High School, who won the competition with a traditional Peruvian Lomo Saltado – stir-fried steak recipe.
