Elementary School Students Soar Learning How to Build and Launch Rockets

Twenty-four fifth grade students from Nova Blanche Forman Elementary School are participating in a mentoring program increasing their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) skills with hands-on experience in the classroom.   

Nova High School students participating in the Engineering Club are mentoring Nova Blanche Forman Elementary students.  The students are learning how to build both paper rockets and hydro rockets with guidance from the Nova High Engineering Club.  The fifth-graders will participate in a rocket competition utilizing the skills they have learned.
