Two teachers and 10 students from Lycée des Metiers Georges Frêche in Montpellier, France, are visiting South Florida to gain hands-on knowledge of the hospitality industry.  The students are staying with host families from JP Taravella High School and are visiting local hotels to learn more about different roles including culinary and housekeeping.  In the photo above, the General Manager of the Riverside Hotel, Heiko Dobrikow, personally met with the students to give them advice and guidance to pursue a career in the hospitality field.

The exchange students are also visiting local universities to tour the culinary and hospitality programs. The students are working with the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association as a partner of the exchange program.

Students from JP Taravella High will travel to France in January 2017 as part of the exchange program.
