On November 6, 2015, NFL legend Isaac Bruce presented Dillard High School with a commemorative Golden Football as part of the Super Bowl’s 50th anniversary celebration.
Bruce was a 1990 graduate of Dillard High and is currently an assistant football coach for the Dillard Panthers. Bruce spent 16 seasons in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers and the Saint Louis Rams. He played in Super Bowl XXXIV in January 2000, winning a Super Bowl ring with the Rams.
In honor of the Super Bowl’s 50th anniversary, the NFL is presenting a gold football to every high school that produced a player or coach that participated in a Super Bowl.
