JP Taravella High Students Win First Place in Florida Virtual Enterprise Business Plan

Six seniors from JP Taravella High School won first place in the first-ever Florida Virtual Enterprise Business Plan Competition. The students presented a plan for a firm called “Focal Point, Inc.” with 25 employees in the Virtual Enterprise International marketplace. These students will represent JP Taravella High at the Virtual Enterprise National Business Plan Competition in New York in April.

Virtual Enterprise International is a global business simulation where students can learn through project-based collaboration gaining skills in entrepreneurship, global business, problem-solving, communications, personal finance and technology.
