Students Create Videos for the “Take 5 to Stay Alive” Contest

Four Broward County Public Schools were honored at the annual “Take 5 to Stay Alive – Don’t Text and Drive” video contest. Cypress Bay High School won second place, Whiddon Rogers Education Center won third place, Piper High School won third place and Atlantic Technical High School won fifth place.

The purpose of the “Take 5 to Stay Alive” campaign is to improve roadway safety by preventing crashes related to texting while driving.
