Congratulations to three McArthur High School students for being selected to participate in prestigious engineering programs, though the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Nicolas Caminero (left) was selected to participate in the MIT online Science, Technology and Engineering Community Program. Nicolas can now access online support and work with students as well as M.I.T. staff.
Kenney Nguyen (center) and Javier Franco (right) were selected to participate in the Minority Introduction to Engineering and Science Program. This is an all-expense paid, on-campus, six-week program, which introduces students to engineering and science at MIT. Nguyen and Franco are two of only 60 students selected nationwide.
