2016 Youth Arts Month Celebration

Tuesday, March 29, 2016
Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) showcases student artwork and musical performances during its annual celebration for Youth Arts Month on Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Kathleen C. Wright Administrative Center, 600 SE Third Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Students from Embassy Creek Elementary School will perform in the lobby and during the culminating Youth Arts Month Ceremony.  Visual arts in a variety of sizes and mediums are displayed in the lobby and pre-function room. This year, in honor of BCPS marking 100 years of Educational Excellence, a special Centennial Corner highlights submissions from a student artwork initiative to inspire a new logo for BCPS.

This celebration promotes the importance of arts education for students at all grade levels. Students in music and art programs from schools across the District participated in exhibitions, performances and concerts.

The reception is graciously being provided by Whole Foods Market.
