Tony Award-Winning Actor John Lloyd Young and International Opera Singer Carla Dirlikov visit Lake Forest Elementary and Walker Elementary to meet with teachers and principals, visit classes, share music techniques with students and film a special talent show video for the White House.

Lake Forest Elementary and Walker Elementary are Turnaround Arts Schools selected by the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities. Each school is adopted by an artist to promote arts and provide encouragement to students throughout the year.
