17th Annual “Stars on Parade” Extravaganza

What:

BCPS middle and high school student performers will take center stage in solo and ensemble dance, music and theater performances. A highlight of the evening will be when 30 seniors from 11 Broward County schools receive 2016 Arts for the Future Scholarships to continue their studies in the visual, performing and technical arts at colleges, universities and educational training institutions.

Why:

The annual “Stars on Parade” Extravaganza showcases outstanding student performances. The Arts for the Future Scholarship Fund is a community-wide initiative to promote artistic career opportunities for graduating seniors. One of the largest programs of its kind in the nation, the Fund has bestowed scholarships to more than 800 talented high school seniors since 1999. The Amaturo Family Foundation, Rose Miniaci Family Fund of the Community Foundation of Broward and the M.H. Yager Foundation are proud sponsors of the annual “Stars on Parade” event.
