Teams of Students from Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) including Middle Schools, High Schools and Technical Colleges, Staff Members and Marine Industries Association of South Florida Representatives.
On Saturday, April 9, 2016, 40 teams of students will attempt to build sea-worthy vessels using simple hand-tools with plywood, caulk and zip ties. On Sunday, April 10, 2016, participants will compete in the decorated boats in a series of races where one team will be named the event champion.
