Students Celebrate Making the Right Choices March for a Healthy Future
On Saturday, December 9, 2017, thousands of students from across Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) will come together for the 5th Annual Above the Influence March – at the City of Miramar Memorial Park and Amphitheater. The annual march helps bolster students’ confidence in standing up to negative pressures and influences, including drugs and alcohol, bullying and fighting, discrimination, or other destructive behaviors and attitudes. In focusing on the positive influences in their lives, students celebrate their choice to live “Above the Influence.”
