BCPS Congratulates the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) congratulates 55 students for being named semifinalists in the prestigious 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program. These BCPS high school seniors are among 16,000 students from around the nation selected for this honor.

The National Merit Scholarship semifinalists will now continue in the competition to be named National Merit finalists, and ultimately National Merit Scholars. Finalists are eligible to compete for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships, with a combined worth of more than $33 million.
