Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is proud to present the 2017 Superintendent’s Advanced Placement Studio Art Exhibition and All County Honors Music Concerts showcasing outstanding student talent. This event marks the sixth annual arts extravaganza celebrating the special unity in arts education collaboration between the Visual Arts and Performing Arts departments.
The All County Honors Music Concert series includes performances by elementary, middle and high school honor bands, choirs, orchestras and jazz bands. The Superintendent’s Advanced Placement Studio Art Exhibition is open to visitors of the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, January 6 – 30, 2017. A panel of jurors comprised of a College Board consultant, a Florida International University professor and executive director of the Coral Springs Museum of Art, evaluated more than 100 pieces from 20 high schools. An artist reception is scheduled for Monday, January 30, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at Coral Springs Center for the Arts.
