BCPS to Hold Educational Re-Engagement Fair
An innovative outreach event offering alternative routes to a high school diploma

Educational Re-Engagement Fair – an outreach effort to help individuals of all ages who left school before earning a diploma. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments, door prizes and iPod giveaways will be provided.

BCPS is hosting an Educational Re-Engagement Fair in an ongoing effort to help individuals who left high school before earning a diploma achieve this goal. With the theme, “It’s Not Too late To Graduate,” the program aims to assist individuals of all ages in meeting the requirements needed to receive their diplomas.
The fair will provide participants with valuable and relevant information about educational options and training opportunities that meet and fit their specific needs. Assistance, counseling and placement will focus on attaining a high school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma) needed to connect with post-secondary opportunities. Attendees will be able to explore a variety of alternative and non-traditional education programs, including flexible schedules and online courses. Program staff and guidance counselors will be on hand to work with participants in making the best choices.
