Cooper City High Sound of Pride Marching Band to Perform in London

Deputy Lord Mayor of the City of Westminster and London New Year’s Day Parade Representatives; School Board Members; Cooper City High School Leadership and Staff; Local Elected Officials, Students; and Members of the Sound of Pride Marching Band
 
WHAT:       
Deputy Lord Mayor of the City of Westminster, along with  the executive director and staff of London New Year’s  Day Parade, will visit Cooper City High School to present members of the Sound of Pride Marching Band with the official invitation to perform in the 2018 London News Year’s Day Parade.  During the visit, guests will be  treated to musical performances by the talented students.

WHY:          
The Cooper City High School Sound of Pride Marching Band has been selected to participate in the 2018 New   Year’s Day Parade in London, England.  Parade representatives are traveling across the United States delivering  the formal invitations to the chosen schools.  Cooper City High School is excited to have received this honor and to welcome their London guests on Monday, September 28, 2015.
