Country Hills Elementary School Students “Walk for Love”

WHAT:
Walk to raise awareness of grief support for children, teens and families.

WHEN:
Friday, February 12, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

WHY:
Students from Country Hills Elementary will participate in a “Walk for Love” in staggered groups to increase awareness of grief counseling for children, teens and families at Tomorrow’s Rainbow, which provides free support groups and miniature therapy horses to guide children through their own journey to deal with grief.
Tomorrow’s Rainbow was featured at a special presentation at a School Board meeting in support of Children’s Grief Awareness Day on November 19, 2015.
