Dania Elementary School’s 100-Year-Old Campus Spruced by Herff Jones

Monday, July 28, 2014
On Friday, July 25, 2014, more than 100 Herff Jones employee volunteers converged on the campus of Dania Elementary School in Dania Beach to spruce up the school’s 100-year-old campus and give students butterfly and reading gardens. In addition to the volunteers, Herff Jones donated all of the materials and supplies needed to make the beautification project possible. Volunteer teams from NatureScape Broward and Tropical View Landscape of Cooper City, also provided eco-friendly landscape designs using trees native to Florida and plants designed to attract butterflies. The day of service was in honor of Dania Elementary School’s 100th anniversary celebration.
