Deerfield Beach Elementary School Hosts Black History Month Tour

Sixty members of a prominent African American travel club, Broward County Public Schools Staff

Deerfield Beach Elementary School will host a Black History Month Tour.

WHY:
Deerfield Beach Elementary, which is listed on the National Register by the Florida Division of Historical Resources, is marking its 90th anniversary (1926 – 2016).  Sixty members of a prominent African American travel club, many of whom are former educators and local business owners from South Florida, will tour Deerfield Beach Elementary.
