Experience Broward Teacher Recruitment Fair – May 26, 2016  Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is holding its annual Experience Broward Teacher Recruitment Fair on Thursday, May 26, 2016. The District is seeking teacher candidates who are committed to continuous improvement, enthusiastic about collaboration and committed to success for all students.

The Experience Broward Teacher Recruitment Fair offers site-based hiring to enable prospective educators to interview with school principals for a teaching position within the District. BCPS is interested in hiring candidates who are committed to providing a quality learning experience for every student. Prospective candidates must be certified or eligible for certification.

For the upcoming 2016/17 school year, preference will be given to candidates certified or eligible for certification in the following core subject areas:   
  • Elementary Education/Pre-K Primary/Head Start
  • English/Language Arts
  • Exceptional Student Education (Autism Spectrum Disability, Pre-K Disability)
  • Mathematics
  • Media Specialist/Library Science
  • Reading
  • Science (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Space and Physics, Middle Grades)
  • Social Science
  • Speech Language Pathologist (Master's Level)
To attend the Experience Broward Teacher Recruitment Fair, interested candidates will need to complete an electronic application by visiting browardschools.com/teacher and clicking on “Recruitment Fair – Apply Now.” Pre-registration is required and the deadline is May 20, 2016.
