Indian Ridge Middle School Hosts “Abriendo Puertas” - A Community Hispanic Fair

WHO:

Indian Ridge Middle School Staff, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Staff and Community Leaders

 

WHAT:

“Abriendo Puertas” is a new outreach program, which offers important information for members of the Hispanic community including citizenship classes, career information, immigration assistance, tax preparation assistance and voter registration. The event will also include food, prizes, games and entertainment.

 

WHEN:

Saturday, January 30, 2016, from 9 a.m. – noon

Indian Ridge Middle School

Davie, FL 33324

 

WHY:

Indian Ridge Middle along with community partners including Hispanic Unity, Memorial Healthcare Services, Mujeres Latinas, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Firewall Centers, Children Services Council and Sunshine Health, created this initiative to help members of the local Hispanic community find resources and information.
