Nova Middle School Students to Display their Tech-Savvy App Building Skills

Nova Middle School students, teachers, school administrators, and representatives from the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and the Verizon Foundation
The Verizon Foundation, in partnership with NFTE, donated 25 Android tablets to Nova Middle Entrepreneurship program as part of the Start Up Tech pilot program. Representatives from Verizon and NFTE will be visiting Nova Middle to see first-hand how its students, through the Start Up Tech program, are learning to create web-based applications.

Nova Middle School is one of only four schools in the nation chosen to participate in the Start Up Tech pilot program for the 2014/15 school year.

The entrepreneurship-based course is aimed at teaching entrepreneurship and employability skills, as well as valuable technology skills to create web-based applications.
