Parent Engagement Night “Attitude, Appearance, Action”

Friday, September 05, 2014
Broward County Public Schools Office of Parent Engagement, Parents, Students and Community Members
School Board Member Dr. Rosalind Osgood will meet with parents throughout the District to encourage and inspire more involvement in the lives of students. Dr. Osgood will engage parents with stimulating conversations around creating environments for every child to grow by setting the right example for students through encouraging positive actions, appearances and attitudes. She has also partnered with the Office of Parent Engagement to help parents become full partners in their child’s education.
A Hot Foods Hot Topics: A Crock Pot Tasting initiative will be featured during this event. Parent resources and vendors will also be available.
Monday, September 8, 2014, 6:30 p.m.

Lauderdale Lakes Middle School, 3911 NW 30th Ave, Lauderdale Lakes, 33309
This event is in response to the overwhelming reaction from Dr. Osgood’s remarks for a parent dress code during a School Board meeting last academic year.
