School Choice Showcase Features Magnet and Innovative Programs

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) offers an array of School Choice options for families, including more than 150 magnet and innovative programs across the District with themes ranging from performing and visual arts, STEM, International Baccalaureate and Cambridge to marine science, Montessori, pre-law and pre-med.
Students and parents are invited to the annual School Choice Showcase to learn more about the District’s magnet and innovative programs and the in-depth experiences and rigorous academic instruction they offer students in all grade levels. Representatives from schools will be at the showcase to share information and answer questions about their programs.

This event provides an opportunity for families to gather information and preview the wide variety of choices BCPS offers for students. The School Choice application window for the 2018/19 school year opens Friday, December 1, 2017. This free event is hosted by the District’s Gifted Advisory Council.
