Hallandale Adult Community School is an alternative school of second chances. It provides high school students in grades 7-12 with opportunities to recover academic credits, to accelerate their learning, and to address social and emotional concerns, which may have inhibited learning in their home school. The school’s mentoring programs provide students with guidance for their post-secondary plans, including college preparation, job internships, and connections to entry level jobs.
Tracy Mourning is a mentor, designer, broadcast journalist, motivational speaker, soon-to-be published author, loving mother and wife to NBA All-Star Alonzo Mourning. The South Florida resident founded the Honey Shine Mentoring Program and has been fully dedicated to enriching the lives of young women.
