Western High School Hosts South Florida Robotics Championship

Broward County Public Schools High School Robotics Students, Robotic Teams from Cypress Bay High School and Western High and Teachers

WHAT:
FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC®) Robotics Championship

WHEN:
Saturday, January 16, 2016, from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

WHY:
The FTC® Robotics Championship challenges teams of high school students, mentored by professional engineers, to compete in qualifying rounds for a chance at the state and national championships. Teams from Cypress Bay High and Western High designed and built robots from a common kit of parts to perform tasks defined in the Robotics Championship.



                Winners of this competition will advance to the Florida Championship in February, 2016.
