The Community Involvement Department of Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) and Partners In Education, Inc. are pleased to announce the 22nd Annual Partnership of the Year Awards.  Applications for Partnership of the Year will be accepted from February 2, 2005 through 5 p.m., March 2, 2005.

Businesses, not-for-profit corporations, government agencies and community organizations that have a working relationship with a school or schools, or work with a District department, division or the school district as a whole, may self nominate for Partnership of the Year.   Public and Charter Schools and Programs, Departments and Divisions of BCPS may also self nominate their partnership(s).

Nominations submitted by the deadline are reviewed by a Selection Committee and are awarded points based on the following criteria: Student Achievement (Educational) or advancing the functionality of the program, department or division (Operational); Alignment to School Improvement or the Strategic Plan; Activities; and Leadership.

The Selection Committee is comprised of members of the Board of Directors of Partners In Education, Inc., staff from the Community Involvement Department and staff representing the winners of the Partnership of the Year Awards from 2004.
