Risk Management

 

The Risk Management Department's mission is to provide risk prevention and mitigation services to Broward County Public Schools aimed at reducing the District's overall property/casualty losses, in a manner which supports the District's Strategic Mission and Objectives.

Risk Management is responsible for procurement of all District excess property and casualty insurance polices, management and oversight of all third party liability and workers' compensation claims. Additionally, Risk Management administers Privacy Rights, the District's Employee Health Testing, Environmental Compliance and Indoor Air Quality programs.
