Take Our Daughters and
Sons to Work Day

Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work day encourages girls and boys across the country to learn more about the workplace and career alternatives without gender limitations, as well as to view the important connections among family, work and the community. This national, public education program attempts to connect what students learn in school with the actual working world and showcases the benefits of a balanced work and family life.

The School Board of Broward County, Florida has officially declared Thursday, April 28, 2011 as Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day for the Broward County Public Schools. The Board encourages all students, parents and school district staff to actively participate in this event.
