BCPS AND BROWARD TEACHERS UNION ANNOUNCE SETTLEMENT
The Broward Teachers Union has announced that teachers ratified a proposed agreement yesterday that closes the 2010/11 contract and settles the 2011/12 bargaining agreement.
An item for the School Board's approval has been added to the agenda of tomorrow's regular Board meeting to ensure it is approved before the September 30th deadline for Race to the Top. (Time certain: 1:30 p.m.) The meeting will be held at 9:45 a.m. at the Kathleen C. Wright Administration Center, 600 SE Third Avenue.
