Flanagan High opened it's new stadium with a ribbon-cutting, before
defeating the Boyd Anderson Cobras, thus completing a three-year effort
to get Broward County's largest High School it's own "home" field.
Since the school opened, the Flanagan Falcons had to play their home
games at Western, Cooper City and Miramar High's fields. This was the
first of three home games Flanagan High will play at its new stadium.
This is only the first of three phases for the Flanagan Stadium. During
the first phase, bleachers were installed that seat 2,000 fans. In
addition to the bleachers, a press box, scoreboard, and a Public Address
System will be installed. During the second phase, lights will be added
and during the third and final phase, a concession stand will be installed.
