On March 2, 2011, Broward County Public Schools transmitted a response to Commissioner Eric Smith's request for a plan of action to address the Findings and Recommendations from the Final Report of the 19th Statewide Grand Jury. The response included a cover letter from School Board Chair Benjamin J. Williams, a summary of the findings and recommendations with actions taken and actions to be taken, and corresponding documents referenced in the plan.
