Principal's Message

    It is with honor, grace, and enthusiasm that I am ready and eager to serve as the Proud Principal of Stranahan High School. This is the perfect time for me to join the Dragon family, and I am confident that I will create a bond with students, parents, and the community. My name is Nichola Stephenson Gayle, Broward bred.
     
    Congratulations on the “B” rating achieved in the 2023-2024 school year. It is a testament to the collaboration and the hard work from students, teachers, staff, parents, and the community.
     
    This year, I entered my 20th year with Broward Schools, and education has changed significantly over the years. The experiences I have gained serving Broward students in multiple capacities gives me the ability to play multiple roles: educator, coach, leader, and supporter. Education is held in high regard, so I will ensure Stranahan High School provides educational experiences that consider the whole child. We will continue to foster a safe and positive environment where students can be themselves and feel supported.
     
    I remain committed to preparing our students for college and career through 21st century learning experiences. It will be essential to the success of all students that I collaborate with and build relationships with teachers, staff, parents, and the community to create a positive learning environment. As we near the 2nd half of the school year, I will work hard to continuously impact student learning in Stranahan High School’s journey to an “A” rating. We will strive for excellence in everything that we do, because we are “One Broward”.
     
    In the upcoming weeks and months, I look forward to getting to know every one of you and supporting our school and community. I will maintain open lines of communication, and I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions, ideas, or concerns you may have.
