Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your college resumé.

    Our Owlsome Oakridge Debate Scholars are dedicated students empowered to craft strong analytical and critical thinking, fine-tuned research analysis, and fantastic communication skills, as well as heightened responsibility, accountability, and maturity in their efforts to prepare for their futures in public speaking through this valuable hands-on extracurricular academic opportunity in the categories of Original Oratory, Interpretation, Impromptu Speaking, and Congressional Debates that can enable them to be strong advocates and leaders. The Oakridge Debate team meets Wednesdays from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. For more information, please contact our coach.

  • Chorus

    Spreading Positive Energy!

    The Oakridge Elementary School Chorus is open to all 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students who enjoy singing and will be meeting weekly from September to December. They are given opportunities to perform in a large ensemble while learning healthy singing techniques, developing part-singing skills, and improving general musicianship.     The Beauty of Mathematics!

    Oakridge Elementary is excited to have its own Mathematics Club. Select students in grades 4 and 5 will be meeting weekly to review math skills as well as provide enrichment.
