Welcome Morrow Patriots     

We are thrilled to welcome you to the Morrow Elementary “Proud Home of the Patriots!” Welcome to the new school year. Our theme this year is Morrow Patriots Learning and Accelerating to Excellence! We are excited to welcome all our scholars and families back to our campus for learning. We are committed to providing ALL our Morrow Patriots with a safe and positive learning environment.   

At Morrow Elementary, we practice the “Power of Three” (We take care of ourselves, we take care of each other, and we take care of the environment). Our goal is to provide the most up-to-date information available to our Morrow stakeholders. Please take a moment to review the website for updated information. Please review below for important information regarding the requirements for the new school year: 

School Unified Dress Code: For the 2021-2022 school year, the students are expected to wear clothing based on the unified dress code: Shirts - (Polo Style) Colors - Blue, Red, or White.  Bottoms - (Pants, Shorts, Skorts, or Skirts) Colors - Navy or Khaki.

JCC Aftercare Registration – Registration information is available on Morrow’s Website     

Meet & Greet – Tuesday, August 17 - 8:30 am - 9:30 am (Pending Broward County Schools & CDC  Guidelines)   

First Day of School – Wednesday, August 18, 2021   School Hours – 7:45am-2:15pm for K-5. 8:00-2:00pm for PreK students

We are accepting registration for new students to Morrow. Please see below for instructions on how to register.  Registration is required for all students new to Morrow Elementary.

Please download, complete, and submit the registration forms, current Immunization form, and Physical form (dated within 12 months of August 19, 2021, the first day of school for 2021-2022) to the front office or by email.

How to Provide Proof of Address
Submit current proofs of residence from the table below, based upon your type of residence 

If you OWN or RENT your residence: (option 1)   
- Submit one document from both Columns A and B   

If you SHARE the housing of another person who owns/rents the home: (option 2)   
-Both the registering parent and owner/renter of the residence complete a notarized Affidavit  of Shared Residence Form 
-The owner/renter of the residence must submit one document from both Columns A and B and 
-The registering parent must submit two documents from Column B.   

If you answer “yes” to certain residency questions on the Student Registration Form, you may qualify for the HOMELESS Education Program (HEP) under the McKinney-Vento Act. 
• The school will provide a referral to the district’s Homeless Education Liaison and, if qualified, the student will be eligible for immediate services.     
• Students registered under the McKinney-Vento Act must re-enroll each school year.   
• All documents must be current, valid, and include the residential address used for enrollment.         

SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR 2021-2022
Dear Morrow Parent:    We are very pleased to share with you that your child will be given a Basic School Supply Kit courtesy  of Broward Educational Foundation and its generous donors.   

Your child will receive a 21-piece kit consisting of the following during the first week of school:  

• 3 - #2 Pencils                                                  • 1 - Washable Glue Stick   
• 3 - Ballpoint Pens                                           • 1 – 12” Plastic Ruler 
• 8 - Premium Crayons                                     • 1 - Wide-Ruled Notebook
• 1 - Beveled Eraser                                          • 1 – 2-Pocket Folder  
• 1 - Pencil Sharpener                                       • 1 – 3-Ring Pencil Pouch     

Like you, we hope to start the 2021-22 school year off on the right foot, and equipping your child for success is a great start. ALL students enrolled at Morrow Elementary will receive these kits. There is no need for you to purchase the supplies listed above.   

We do ask that you purchase your child(ren) a set of headphones for sanitary reasons and a book bag to bring items to and from school. You may purchase any additional supplies you think your child may need to start the school year.
