    Student Directed Choreography

    • Selects any song from the list.

    • Scene Design - 1 scale model or set of renderings

    • Costume Design - 5 characters or 1 character through different costume changes

     

                      TECHNICAL THEATRE CATEGORIES

    • The student must fully construct one complete costume from neck to ankle.
    • Utilize 3 different fabrics or trims.
    • 1 person

     

                      TECHNICAL THEATRE CATEGORIES

    • Makeup Design - 3 characters from 1 individual play

     

                      TECHNICAL THEATRE CATEGORIES

             Playwriting

    • 1-2 people
    • The text must contain dialogue, and at least two characters
    • The script submitted must be in the form of a non-musical one-act stage-play with a maximum total length of 30 pages

             Publicity Direction

    • 1 person - 5 min max

     

    TECHNICAL THEATRE AUDITION STEPS

    • Research all the shows. Read summaries and look around for comments/reviews about the shows.
    • Choose the one you think you would most like to work on.
    • Read it.
    • Come up with an overall concept based on your research.
    1. “Pitch it” to me during your audition slot.

     

                      HOW MANY?

    • You can audition for a maximum of 4 pieces = 3 performance + 1 tech  OR  3 tech + 1 performance
    • The One-Act does not count against your total.
    • One-Act cast or crew does not.
