Students Start the 2018/19 School Year on Wednesday, August 15, 2018

Broward County Public Schools students will start the 2018/19 school year on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. The new school year will begin earlier than usual, and start midweek – a change from the District’s traditional Monday start day. 2018/19 School Choice Application Window Opens December 1, 2017

Congratulations to 25 District schools for receiving the Five Star School Award from the Florida Department of Education. The award recognizes the importance of community involvement to student success.
