Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) celebrates the 16th Annual Kids of Character Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 2, 2016, at 7 p.m. The special recognition ceremony is sponsored by the Sun-Sentinel and Publix.
The event recognizes students and staff nominated by schools for demonstrating outstanding character throughout the school year, including cooperation, responsibility, citizenship, kindness, respect, honesty, self-control and tolerance.

The Kids of Character awards ceremony takes place at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Amaturo Theater, 201 SW Fifth Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.
