Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) congratulates 36 students for being named semifinalists in the prestigious 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program. These BCPS high school seniors are among 16,000 students across the country selected for this honor.
The National Merit Scholarship semifinalists now continue in the competition to be named National Merit finalists and ultimately National Merit Scholars, who are eligible to compete for some 7,400 National Merit Scholarships with a combined worth of more than $32 million.
