The Parent/Community Involvement Task Force and Office of Parent Engagement are excited to present The 411 on Parent Engagement Conference, featuring workshops on best practices for parent involvement, and a non-profit resource fair to connect parents and educators with community resources and tools to support their work. Keynote presenter, Dr. Dione Christy, independent principal consultant, will address engaging parents and the community.
Workshop topics include: Best Practices in Parent Engagement, Marketing Schools and District Programs, Crossing the Cultural Divide Helping Schools Raise Funds to Support Programs and Students, and Using Technology to Engage Families.
