Students from Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) will compete in the annual Broward SECME-STEM Olympiad on Saturday, April 16, 2016, from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Dillard High School, 2501 NW 11th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311.
From 7:30 – 8:30 a.m., students register and drop off their devices. The event begins with a flag ceremony and banner parade at 9 a.m. From 9:10 a.m. – 3:45 p.m., BCPS students will participate in a series of challenges including mousetrap cars, generators, water bottle rockets, banners, posters, essays, generator bionic hands, bridge building, team challenges and VEX robotics showcase.
Room locations are subject to change for specific events. The information/registration desk will be available in the gym.
