Dillard Elementary in Partnership With Ranger Good Works Unveils Student Mural

Dillard Elementary School unveils student mural during its arts awareness month in the Flagler Arts and Technology (FAT) Village Art District

WHY:              
Dillard Elementary, in partnership with Ranger Good Works has dedicated the month of May to arts awareness month. To wrap up the month, students from Dillard Elementary worked hand-in-hand with local South Florida artists to design and paint a wall mural, which will be on display for one year in the FAT Village Art District in Fort Lauderdale.
 
For the past two years, Ranger Good Works has gradually built an arts program through sponsoring afterschool art activities, field trips and clubs at Dillard Elementary. During May, over 800 students participated in art-related activities such as painting, ceramics, poetry, jewelry design, fashion design and more.
 
Through volunteer hours, donations, technology solutions, marketing efforts, software services, and connections, Ranger Good Works supports programs and organizations that address the needs of local communities throughout South Florida.
