Discovery Elementary second and third grade level chess champions will face off in the school’s first Human Chess Tournament. A specially selected student will serve as the tournament’s announcer, directing the moves of the students performing as live chess pieces during the game. Students are also being encouraged to dress as their favorite chess piece.
