Grand Opening Of The Lauderhill 6-12 School Community Garden

WHY:
Students, parents, teachers, community volunteers and leaders, and the Lauderhill Police Department, joined in building a community garden. The garden houses 21 garden beds, which include a mosaic and organic patch. The garden will be used to provide access to healthy food and inspire healthy living, while bringing the community together. Local organizations and community members will have an opportunity to plant and tend to the garden.
