The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company
1500 NE 5th Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL  33060

Pines Middle School and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company established a unique
partnership aimed at increasing students’ interests in Science, Technology, Engineering
and Math (STEM).  This is the second year of the partnership and Goodyear has been
tremendous support of STEM lessons in the classroom at Pines Middle School.  The
primary goals are to align the science curriculum using Goodyear Tire and Rubber
Company as a real world example for the students.
Goodyear employees also visited students to share their experiences, encourage them to work hard and inspire them to explore the "science" side of a tire and service company.  As a reward for their efforts, students are being treated to a ride on a Goodyear Blimp!
