Washington’s students are now using the robots as part of their daily curriculum.  They are excited to show off their abilities and how the robots are impacting their learning.
The Sphero robots make learning engaging, as students develop skills centered on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).  Washington is one of only 100 teachers across the country to win the robots during the Hour of Code activities, which were organized by the non-profit organization Code.org.  The Hour of Code aimed to inspire 100 million students across the globe to try one hour of computer science during National Computer Science Education Week (December 8-14, 2014).
