Colbert Museum Magnet School

When: Wednesday, December 10, 2014 – 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Colbert Elementary Museum Magnet School students will display their work in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) during Museum Night. The school’s classrooms parallel the museum process of researching, exploring, experimenting, explaining and exhibiting. Second International Summit Hosted by Pompano Beach High School

Pompano Beach High School will host its second International Summit from December 8-11, 2014, with foreign educators who will co-teach and examine key issues in education, economics and culture with students. Annual Winter Showcase
Welleby Elementary School

When: Thursday, December 11, 2014 – 5 – 8 p.m.
The Annual Winter Showcase includes the grand opening of the Solar Gazebo, where student-created garden ornaments using recycled materials will be on display; a chess demonstration with a “live” chessboard by the Chess Club, and performances by the Welleby Chorus, Violin Ensemble, Dance Club, Step Team, and cheerleaders.
